The wedding of my friends Claire and Jonathan this weekend in Tucson, AZ was amazing. It was a beautiful day outside and everything about the wedding was so thoughtful. My favorite part was walked from the ceremony down the street to the reception - so great to enjoy the neighborhood. We enjoyed the music of Pueblo High Mariachi, and Sergio Mendoza y la Orkesta. Thank you to C and J and their families for an absolutely perfect wedding. See more pictures on Flickr here. (ps. my camera ran out of batteries! So not too many photos - wish I had photos from the Chicken Coop they turned in to a photo booth complete with backdrop and dress up clothes!).

She MADE her dress? Totally thought it had to be Anthropologie or something! What a crafty lady. Impressed!
It was the most beautiful wedding ever. Comfortable AND elegant. Thanks for the kind words about the dress. Here is the free pattern online (you can print it on your own printer and tape it together. I made a few minor modifications (lined bodice and skirt) but it is very easy. Lots of cute patterns on this site, too.

Erin - thanks for the tip. If only I were that crafty! A goal of mine for 2010 is to start sewing again, but first I need to get a new sewing machine as our died. Then - it is starting small - pillows and such. I have to work myself up to your level of expertise. You make simply AMAZING clothes!
