Before & After

This chair was hanging around the Mountainfilm office. Justin really liked the lines & when his boss decided the chair was too gross and needed to be tossed, Justin grabbed this chair & it's twin and stuck them in our storage unit. They have been sitting in storage for two years now. With no money and no upholsterer in Telluride, we really didn't know what to do with the chairs, but we held on to them anyway. We were heading down to Flagstaff in May and I decided that we were going to take one chair with us & find an upholsterer in Flag to at least get a quote. Though we really couldn't afford to recover the chairs, we sucked it up and got one recovered for our "living room" area. It took a couple of months for the work to get completed, but I think the change looks pretty good. We opted for a "cost effective" fabric which is fine, but if money was no object I would have taken a risk and done something more funky like this. Anyway, it is great to have at least one of these chairs recovered.
