As you go about your weekend - remember this.

Yeah, Yeah - reverse image. So lame that I cannot fix this. I am on my work computer - which does not have photo shop. I also do not have my camera. So, this was taken with my web cam in my office and I cannot figure out how to "flip" this image so it reads correctly - c'est la vie. Anyway, I am loving all of my new tape...some purchased in SF recently & more brought home for me unexpectedly from Paris (thanks BK). I made little thank you cards using them - such fun!

Digging these new pendant lights from (of all places) IKEA. I love the way the light seems to get diffused - soft, warm. And, only $8 for the shade...sold.

This little lovely I received as a birthday gift this year. I absolutely adore this radio and the sound is killer. We only have one radio station here in Telluride, but now that I have received this puppy - I have been listening to it non-stop no matter what they are playing.

This is the only "white" I would like to see right now. Instead, we are getting hammered with more snow. Hurry Spring!

Sigh. My computer remains broken - I need to see if I can find a way to get it fixed. Of course, I hope I don't have to replace it as I really don't have the money to spend on a new laptop. In the meantime, my roommate got an iPad. It is awesome. And now, I am thinking if I have to replace my computer - why not just get one of these? I mean, do I really need a full computer at home if I have one at work? It would save me some money. Let's discuss.

B-day Month, oh yes it is!

OK...so it's July, and it's my b-day month. My birthday generally consists of me and my honey with a lot of champagne, too many cupcakes, and an amazing dinner. I want to go here....as TF is my TV boyfriend, but alas they are totally booked up unless we want to eat at 11pm 5 nights before or after my b-day. boo.

Then I got this in the mail.....It is a 15% off coupon to Anthro. Great, right? The creativity that comes out of that place baffles and inspires me all at the same time. I am already thinking of making b-day cards with candles glued on....All is well again in b-day month.

In Unrelated to my b-day news...here are 2 more shots of the living room. It is done, but now I gotta work on adding some more personal touches...it got too matchy. Note new linen Drapery and Hardware....

Birthday Round-up

Such a wonderful 33rd birthday celebration! Scott treated me to a weekend in Bisbee, AZ and we stayed at an AMAZING house.  I am lame and took no pictures of it, but believe me - it was perfection.  The best part - a reading nook in the kitchen complete with a comfy little bed and windows all around to enjoy the view.  Sunday I celebrated with friends at Crafternoon and Sunday night I had a super fun dinner and date with my friend Rachel.

Happy # 4-0 to my sweetie!

Scott's 40th birthday is today - so far so good - no freak outs yet.  As I have mentioned before, Scott is a clean freak, so today for his birthday he gets a cleaning team coming to work on the house. Next up we are checking in to Starr Pass for some relaxing by the lazy river/pool.  A few friends are meeting us at Starr Pass for happy hour to celebrate tonight.  Woo hoo!

Birthday Loot

Yep, this girl "turned the Bird" this weekend. Had a great dinner with friends & probably one too many cocktails Saturday night to celebrate. I got some great gifts from Justin this weekend that I wanted to share. Apparently "someone" has been reading this here little blog thing.

I also got an artichoke cookbook, a basket for my bike (woo hoo), & some other small goodies. I think 33 might be my best year yet!

Oh right. I also got this. A cockroach. In plexi. What every girl wants for their birthday - no? I have a severe aversion (such a nice way to put it) to cockroaches...one reason we no longer live in the South. Justin picked this up during our last visit to Savannah at a very unexpected place - The Paris Market. Anyway, this is now on display in the house. Should make for some interesting conversations.

I will be gettin' my birthday on.

Justin is the best at throwing me birthday parties. Always a surprise & always a blast.
I have a feeling that 33 is going to be a great year!
