Wedding Rings

Since Scott and I eloped, and I got a the family ring from my grandmother, we never officially bought each other wedding rings. Scott had a silver band he wore on his right hand that we moved to his left hand in the ceremony. Now I am feeling sort of sentimental and wanting us to get rings together. I will wear mine on my other hand, and he can wear his as his wedding band. I liked both of these from various Etsy emails. Thoughts?

I think this is a really nice idea...and i am loving loving the one above with the fingerprint inside, like a really intimate secret :)

Love the fingerprint idea. These are very cool.

Cathy - how did you guys decide upon rings?

I think the more personal, the better.

Little B - Can you get Scott's fingerprints in your ring and yours in Scott's ring? If I were in Tucson, I would make them for you with your own fingerprints! Isidro and I are having the same elopement 'feeling' and have planned to wed and get "real" rings on our 10th (wedding dress and all)! - Amy

My Rings...I picked them out, and I just wanted something that I knew I could stare at for the rest of my life. And I do, so it is right. But to just take them off and look at them they are classic and nothing as personal as a fingerprint. I still catch Keith staring at my hand sometimes...and it reminds me of how proud he was to buy me a ring and then give it to me :) it makes my heart jump and my eyes water.

I would really like to have a 2nd wedding band...something like this

I am thinking this is a nice something when a 3rd member of the family comes along :)

I love this wedding band. So beautiful.

Do you have something to tell me about a 3rd member of the family coming a long... :)

Sooo reminds me of you! Wow.

There used to be this print ad from Tiffany's of a bunch of stacked bands that I tore out & gave to Justin - I will see if I can find it. Anyway, I love the idea of stacking bands that represent different milestones in life - wedding, kids, anniversaries, etc.

Um, and ditto Becca - Cathy are there any plans in the works we need to know about?
