Contemplation....

I need a bed for our second bedroom that can accommodate an occasional guest, but also looks good not made up as a bed. This room is used 100% of the time as an office, but it needs to be able to work as more.

The contenders are as follows

1) Day Bed from West Elm. I went and saw it in person, I like it. I like the white more than the dark wood...I think

2) I also like either of these from Ballard, as they are nice looking and conceal a trundle. Do they look too formal or something though? Would you just get it in Linen and call it a day?
