Because, where else would I go? Since I got my lovely Frye boots for Christmas I am now on the hunt for more "winter" skirts - ones I can wear with tall socks &/or tights. I have loads of "summer" skirts, but any "winter" skirt ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am stylistically challenged, but trying to get hip in 2010. Thanks!
The boots in question here. I love that I own these.
So, a look like this - but with boots. I own one jean skirt.
Other ideas? Thank you in advance for your help!

Yes - love with corduroy skirts. Also - maybe a skirt like this - tweed pencil skirt.

You could do with tight dark jeans or cords and do over the pants.
SO FUN!
Thanks for the Target link - since that is all I gots here (well, like 2 hrs - but close enough). I will run by there later this week since I have to go up to the airport in Montrose. Last time I was in Target they were pretty cleaned out for Christmas - let's hope they restock by this Thursday!
Also, not sure about the "skinny jeans" look. Maybe I need to warm up to it. I feel that it looks bad unless you are skinny. Makes my legs look shorter & fatter than necessary. Am I being silly?
Skinny Jeans: The trick is to cover up your butt. I know this sounds strange, but you need to erase your waist...so you look longer. I have this sweater.

I wear it with skinny jeans and boots all the time and I don't feel frumpy because there is that "thin" illusion :)
Skirts: The key here is to show your knees and about 3-4 inches of leg...Everyone has that spot on your legs that looks good to show, then you gotta cover the rest up...I am very into skirts/tights/boots right now..and I had all my skirts (including the one above (I have in gray)) shortened about 2 inches. Made a world of difference....One note on Skirt above, the fit is not that great, and I had the pockets sewn shut.
