Card Crazy

So - in case you don't know this about me, I am card obsessed. I buy cards all of the time. We have a dedicated drawer in our condo just to house all of the cards I purchase. It may be a bit crazy, but it comes in handy when we need to send out a last minute "Birthday/Baby/Get Well/Thank You/Congratulations" acknowledgment. Anyway, today I ran across some fun cards from Seltzer Goods. I have picked up a couple of their cards before, but it is great to see all of their offerings. I like the funny, quirky type of cards - vs. the sappy, sentimental type. Do any of you have "card drawers?" What are your favorite types of cards to send out - funny, sweet, store bought, handmade?

A few of my favorites from Seltzer Goods -

You betcha - dig it.

Words of encourgement.

Precisely.

Nothing could be more true.

They also make posters. I can't wait for it to warm up around here enough for me to "get my ride on" soon.

This is for my friend, Scientist Susan.

From the mailbox....

A few super cute Save the Dates/Wedding Invitations have graced our mailbox this week.  I love getting mail - especially when it is on pretty paper announcing the marriage of good friends.

You cannot tell from the picture, but the paper is textured with small ridges.  I love how classic this 'Save the Date' is for Josh and Christine's wedding in Boston.  I highly recommend reading their super sweet and creative proposal story here:

I love Ian and Emily's use of the photo booth pictures in the invitation!  I am very excited for any wedding reception that involves bike riding and tequila drinking - read more here: http://www.ianandem.com/

Invites!

I have used Party Cat and Polka Dot Designs for a lot of invites. They are great, easy and really fast. I however am a HUGE fan of Tiny Prints (all cards above from there). I have done numerous invites, and I always do our holiday cards there... I usually don't even change the suggested font, but you can. Another added bonus of TP is they have cute stickers and what-not that go with whatever design you choose...

Then there is always Paper Source...order some cute cards and a stamp...print on colored vellum and attach with a ribbon. That is my super quick go-to invite.

Help: Baby Shower Invitations

Alright - a little help here please? I am planning a very low-key baby shower for a girlfriend & am in need of some invitation help. The mommy-to-be mentioned that we should just send out an "evite" for the shower...my co-organizer & I said absolutely not! So, the idea is for something simple, inexpensive, and cute. I think we are open to any ideas - craft can count! Would love the input.
