Life Lately...

Hi there! Remember me? I know. It has been so very long. I am terrible. Life lately has been, well, busy. Without going into everything - here is a taste of what's been happening.

I have been on a painting frenzy. Nothing exciting/worth sharing. I am just touching up everything in my place. Inside of pantry - check. Front of cabinets - check. Boring stuff, but man, it feels so fresh and clean again. I like. Lots.

Found some rusty numbers to put on the front of the shed while "junking" in Montrose. They haven't gone up yet - soon though.

PS. Other news about the shed...Dwell is interested in doing a story. Crazy, right?

Despite a snowstorm this last weekend, Matthew is in a springtime state of mind.

A little DIY. A bit confusing, but we got it done. And, I haven't worn my bracelet once. Oh well.

Anthropologie moved to a new location in Boston.
While in town visiting my sister last month, we stopped by.
Amazing. All of it.

Have you seen this blog? Matthew and I are obsessed.
So, I did my own version for him on the shed fridge.
Man, I love this chalkboard fridge.

One more week. Trying to soak it up.

I want...

I am thinking I need this. Which is weird as I am so not an animal print type of person.

Friday Faves

It is finally Friday - what a week! Hope you all are doing something wonderful with your weekends.
Get out there and enjoy yourselves!

If I had my druthers, I would be here - all. weekend. long.

Digging these scalloped shorts.

This minty fresh round-up is simply lovely.

I have posted this image before. A bathroom reno might finally be happening at the condo. Starting to pull together an inspiration file. Hex tiles and subway tiles are top of the list.

Not ready for fall just yet. But if I were - I would want everything J.Crew has in their fall lookbook.

And, MCB and I just started watching this. He is already addicted (I might be too).

Currently Loving...

Are you ready? It is almost the weekend! TGIF. In celebration of a week well done, a few of my favorites from the blogs this week. Have the bestest weekend everyone.

And it goes on and on. Open Shelving. I just can't get enough.

I want...

J. Crew, why oh why do you tease me with your lovely wares? These glasses need to be in my possession. Darn you with your $395 price tag. Sigh.

Honestly?

What is the consensus here? My vote is "no."

Wedding Take #2

My friend Amy picked out this dress for me in case Scott and I ever have a big wedding ceremony (not going to happen but wish I had a reason to wear this dress!). Why is everything is J. Crew so wonderful?

Question...

Because, where else would I go? Since I got my lovely Frye boots for Christmas I am now on the hunt for more "winter" skirts - ones I can wear with tall socks &/or tights. I have loads of "summer" skirts, but any "winter" skirt ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am stylistically challenged, but trying to get hip in 2010. Thanks!

The boots in question here. I love that I own these.

So, a look like this - but with boots. I own one jean skirt.
Other ideas? Thank you in advance for your help!

Let it snow!

Blizzard - that is the word of the day. We are expected to receive over two (yep - I said two) feet of snow here over the next 24 hours. Here is a video from my favorite Felt Soul Media boys (whom I mentioned here) that will show you a little about our Telluride winters & our ski terrain.

Guess I should be excited that this snow will make for some great skiing this weekend! So, in trying to be upbeat about this onslaught - here is a smattering of snow inspired items. Anything I am missing?

5 things to think about with me...

1) Compost. I will now have to comply with the law (secretly I am SO HAPPY, as KP has previously said, "I don't want a stink pot up in this shoe box!") I am not going to use the free bin as we do live in such a small spot, I need it to be aesthetically pleasing. The guy below is nice…and there are some other options here.

2) Baggu…I think I am going to get a new set as I can’t find my blue one and I want to really keep one in my handbag. I still haven’t ordered the sandwich wraps as I really don’t eat a lot of sandwiches…I am a left over/hot lunch or a salad kind of gal…hmmmmm

3) Boots…do I have to explain why I am thinking of these? I just got new tights (don’t judge!))

4) J.Crew Sale…Nothing I want is on sale, and I am really frustrated!

5) Holiday Decor….these are from a store here near work…and I stare at them. I basically think about Holiday Decor year-round. It is a major issue both personally and professionally.

Last Thought: Can you compost a pumpkin after you glitter it?
