I wrote here about judging books by their covers - and I do the same thing about wine labels. I totally buy wines that I think have great label designs. Here are some of my favorite labels (and they taste good too!). Cheers!

Thank you Sonchia for sending me this! With the help of Erin, I used her serger to sew around the wine bottle - then framed it (clear frame so the green wall would show through)! I will someday get to hanging it up by the wine rack in the kitchen.

Halloween Decision Made!

This weekend we have to do some Halloween shopping. I talked here about Halloween costumes, and the decisions have been made.

Erin (my sister) and I confirmed that we are going to be Haley Mills and Haley Mills in the ORIGINAL Parent Trap. So excited. Thinking we will do the scene when they are fighting at camp and one of them cuts the others dress skirt or the scene where they perform duets for their parents. We need blonde wigs. Scott is going to be Prefontaine - the runner. He is going to have a fake mustache and wig.

Idea Paint

Move over chalkboard paint, there is a new product in town. Have you guys heard of IdeaPaint? "IdeaPaint is a patent-pending single-coat roller-applied paint that transforms any smooth surface into a high performance dry-erase writing surface." I can think of tons of great uses for this paint in an office setting, but also for the home: calendars, schedules, grocery lists, etc. Where do you want to use it?
