bike days
It is finally feeling like Fall here in AZ!
Bike riding season is here again!
Wouldn't you love to find this on your bike?
The Tucson Bicycle Belles are going to design their own to give out.

Happy riding!

Arizona + Wine = Good
Blood into Wine is about winemakers in Jerome, Arizona . The twist - it focuses on the lead singer from Tool - who made a big move from CA to AZ to pursue his new calling. It is pretty good (and free on Netflix). My favorite parts are the shots of Arizona. The opening credits are lovely. In the film - I could have sworn he said he had a wine called "Sonchia" - but I have failed to find it online.

And the band played on...
I love marching bands. Maybe because working at UA is the first school I have been at that has one (our band in high school was literally - a band - a rock and roll band, and in college sports and marching bands were not a big deal - maybe we had a marching band and I did not even know about it...). A few shots from the recent homecoming parade.

Happy Homecoming
It is Homecoming at University of Arizona this weekend. I wish that you two (obviously my favorite UA graduates!) were coming in town! In honor of homecoming (and pay day, and 25% off at the UA bookstore today) I treated myself to this retro U of A shirt. It is comfy and I love this logo.

Bisbee Time!
Off to my favorite AZ town of Bisbee for the weekend. So so so excited. Full reports of wedding celebrations, sister reunions and antique shopping when I return. Love you girls.
