I bought....

This week we cashed in some wedding gift cards and got Mario Batali cast iron cookware.  It is like a cheaper version of Le Creuset. 

So far so good!  Love the yellow polenta color with our green walls in the kitchen.

So, did these survive the big crash of August 2010? Will you have to replace? What is the aftermath of the destruction? Could you get the shelves back up? Sigh - I am so sorry.

So - Scott is going to put the shelves back up this weekend after first painting wood beams the color of our kitchen and adding to the wall for reinforcement. We plan to not put all the heavy ones on one shelf like we did before.

So - one pot - handle broke off and no good.
others are really chipped/dented. Not totally unuseable- just not so pretty anymore. ):
