You are so good. Every weekend I think about documenting what I am doing for the blog, but it never seems interesting enough - not that it has to be I guess.
I want to hear more about your "crafternoon!" What did you guys make? How did it work crafting in a bar? Deets please. Jealous.
The "I want to make it with you" Crafternoon at Sky Bar was wonderful. Sky Bar is on 4th ave. right by Brooklyn Pizza. It has really large windows and the doors were all open - so did not have a dark bar feeling. It went so well!! We had about 14 people show up. We had a big table at the bar and people brought various craft projects (knitting, making pom poms, envelope making, drawing sketches for sculpture). Our friends Michelle made cookies. We ordered Pizza from next door (delivered to the bar) and enjoyed beverages while talking and knitting. The cute bartender told us how happy they were that we picked Sky Bar for our crafternoon and welcomed us back any sunday. The only weirdness was that football was on - maybe we can convince them post Football season to play the PBS create channel or Martha Stewart. :) Totally wished for you all!!! I think we are going to make it a weekly event and then peeps can come whenever.
It was much fun. Cocktails or beer and pizza plus crafting and cool company. Stellar!
